Shay Hendrix Escort & Razzle Shoot

While I was waiting for the new website design I stopped posting on the blog so there’s a few shoots not listed, one of those was the gorgeous Shay Hendrix back in March, I hadn’t worked with Shay for a couple of years so I was really looking forward to the shoot.

A pretty easy day as all we had to do was an Escort Magazine & Razzle Magazine set, the rest of the time was left to play, we shot some soft lighting shallow DOF stuff and a couple of videos on the Canon 5D, 1 is up on my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/SDGlamour as posted earlier on my blog and a trailer for the other can be found on my VIDEOS page (first video on page 1)

Scarlet Studios Shrewsbury Photos

I’m busy sorting out a new photobook to promote my studio in Shrewsbury, Scarlet Studios www.scarltstudios.com so have been going through thousands of images to pick out some for the book, I often forget what I have shot, there’s so many good shoots I had long forgotten that it’s been real fun choosing photos.

Arty Farty Change Of Scene

Attended a group photo function at Superfly Bar in Leicester (thanks goes to the organisers for a great day) a couple of weeks back, no real purpose but a change of scene and models for me, but it turns out I had already worked with two of them, and more shockingly I let my ‘no implants’ rule slip just this once! Lucy who I shot 6 years ago for Suburban Amateurs before her boob job, trying my hardest to ignore the silicon I was pretty chuffed with the results, she’s a cracking model.

Also there was Holly, redhead petite model who was simply amazing to shoot, she drifted into some amazing poses and quite enchanting to watch, then Tibby Muldoon, a model I have longed to shoot for some time and quite a character (not to mention her huge natural  baps!) and last but no means least Katy, I have shot Katy a couple of times before, to sum her up: it feels like an honour to be allowed to shoot her, over the top statement maybe but she really is a top class model that inspires me no end, I want to keep her here as a muse.

Natalia Forrest Studio Photo Session

Natalia Forrest returns, this time in the studio, sporting her new hair style, I think she looks fantastic and pretty classy, we only spent a couple of hours dabbling and making it up as we went along but she’s inspirational so ideas flowed easily and well pleased with the results.

Studio Shoot With Sophia

Had a fun day at my studio ( Scarlet Studios ) yesterday with Sophia, mainly for my future posing guide and the rest of the time was just dabbling with lighting.

Sophia was awsome, she’s professional, polished, inspirational and of course stunning, I rank her in the top 5 of all the models I have worked with which made the shoot very easy and a lot of fun.

The shoot was quite lazy on my part, using the high key white vinyl backdrop and adjusted the lighting towards the end once the main shots were out the way, I wish I had more time to try some other backdrops, but then I’m certain to get her back for that in the future.


It was also a practice for the future planned ‘Studio Day Experience’ shoots where Sophia will be the resident model.

That’s all for now, back to editing them, there’s over 450 shots to choose from, not bad for a couple of hours ‘work’.

Novice Glamour Studio Day Experience

Throwing this one in the air to see responses……

I’ve had my studio www.scarletstudios.com over a year now and little used (my own fault) so looking at ways to pay the bills and have some fun, so I am thinking of doing monthly Novice Days, in a nutshell:

Studio Included
Camera Provided
Nude model Provided
Studio Lighting Provided and setup for you
No Skill At All Required!

You get to take home your images on a DVD that will look professional, I set up the camera & lighting and show you how to take the photos, the rest is up to you.

I won’t try baffling you with science and tech talk, friendly down to earth appraoch and I will promise you will be proud of the results.

Think of it more as a Glamour Experience like you see Hot Air Balloon Rides, Go-Carting etc.

It will be in groups of up to six people but each person will get their own 1 to 1 shooting time with the model, either bring a mate or on your own but it should be a lot of fun and an experience you won’t forget.

Lets face it, it’s most blokes ambition to photograph a hot nude chick but who has the equipment skills and know-how? I will provide all that all you need to do is come along and get snapping professional looking photographs.

Pricing at the moment, it’s looking around £140 to £150 per person for the day if I can get the right model for the price.

Studio Posing Guide Shoot

Dusted down my very underused studio yesterday for a shoot with the very beautiful Judy, the shoot was for a posing guide I am working on for new models, a picture speaks a thousand words and all that, that coupled with the horror new models have to go through when I show them the position I want them in, I’m sure the vision of me laying on my back legs open will haunt them for years lol.

I chose a mature and experienced model Judy for the shoot, I’m amazed at her looks & figure for her age (36) which in theory most girls should be able to get in the same positions, obviously she’s a very pretty woman and wicked posture but she also brought plenty of ideas to the shoot making it fun & easy for me.

It’s still in the early stages, but I have been asked if I am going to produce the posing guide commercially, I am 50/50 on that at the moment, I will get the project finished and test the water, but the main reason was a shooting aid for myself.

Here’s a few pics from the shoot.

That’s all for now, I shot over 250 pics so plenty to choose from and will give a brief description of the key points for each pose, the image will do the main work, each model is different at the end of the day and their own posture will vary each pose.

Free Glamour Shots By SimonD

Oooh…. it felt like Christmas this morning! I had to scrape all the ice off my car and could see everyone’s gardens, looking like snow, covered in frost. It gave me a little warm feeling inside!

SimonD doesn’t only do adult photography, he also does a lot of glamour work, often at the studio just to give a fresh element to his work, yet keeping the tease element. This helped SimonD keep fresh ideas on how to still get sexy looking images without getting explicit. None of these images were sold or ever intended on being sold, it was solely for fun and inspiration!

Some of the models that SimonD has shot in this glamour style, you may already recognise, such as Angelina a.k.a Sugar, Katie Lee, Tabbie a.k.a Ruth from All_Ruth and Tammy Oldham. He has also shot local models that you probably won’t have seen before as they don’t do adult work. These include; Jo, Taryn, Shell, Liz and Kayleigh Oldham, Tammy Oldham’s sister.
